Maverick shoppers can check out a few new options for 2026! There are two new paint colors (more on this below) and Lariat and Tremor models are now available with a power-sliding rear window. Plus, every trim model now features a one-year subscription to the Ford Connectivity Package, giving you unlimited Wi-Fi data, access to built-in, Google-based navigation and more.
Shopping for speed? While this year’s Maverick comes standard with a sporty hybrid powertrain, it also offers the extra-powerful 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine at a discount. If you add both the 250-horsepower engine and all-wheel drive to your XL or XLT truck, you’re essentially getting these upgrades at no extra cost. And if you opt for the engine upgrade and stick with front-wheel drive, you can actually save $1,000 on your XL or XLT truck!
As we mentioned, the Maverick gets two new colors for 2026: Marsh Gray and Orange Fury. But it also deletes a few options that were available for 2025 — namely, Eruption Green and Desert Sand.
We’ve listed all the available colors below, but you should note that some models aren’t available with every color. First of all, the entry-level XL isn’t available in Ruby Red or Azure Gray. And the stylish Lobo is only available in four colors: Carbonized Gray, Shadow Gray, Space White, and — our personal favorite — Velocity Blue. Meanwhile, the XLT, Lariat, and Tremor are available in every shade!

For the extra traction you need on sandy trails and muddy backroads, add all-wheel drive to your truck. Doing so reduces EPA ratings slightly, to 37 mpg combined (40 city/34 highway).
Crave a little extra speed? Consider the available 2.0-liter Ecoboost engine. Not only does this 250-horsepower engine come standard with all-wheel drive, but it’s pretty good on gas, earning 25 mpg combined (22 city/30 highway). Maverick XL and XLT trucks equipped with this engine are also available with front-wheel drive, but, as of this writing**, EPA ratings for this configuration aren’t out yet.
